Transform an Image into an icon!.

There is a lot of people that like to customize the Windows interface, so as to make sure that their copy doesn't look like that of the rest of people. There are various tools that can be used to carry out this task, like for example, Easy Picture2Icon, that will allow the user to transform any photograph or image into an icon to be used with their programs.

  The program is very simple, it is only necessary to select an image ( BMP, GIF, JPEG, JPG and PNG), to decide if you want the image to be compressed, to cut its borders or to reduce its size so as to make it fit inside the icon, after that you have to select the size of the icon that you want to save in the file (16x16, 32x32 and 64x64), and last of all save it, so as to have the corresponding ICO file.

  Easy Picture2Icon doesn't allow to do anything else, it doesn't allow to edit the image, nor to manually modify the borders of the area that kill be cropped, thus making it a program that is very direct, but at the same time not assuring that the results will be optimum with all the images. What is clear, is that it is the most simple way to transform an image into an icon.

  Requirements: This program requires Microsoft .NET Framework to be installed.
